Review: Kiss Classic Nail Dress
When it comes to traveling with nail polish, there is always a risk of breaking bottles and you have to take into account the space and weight involved in lugging manicure tools. I usually pack a mini manicure set, nail polishes, and accessories with me, but I thought I’d give the Kiss Classic Nail Dress polish strips a try instead.
The product is described as “The ultimate nail fashion–just smooth on natural nails! Turn otherwise boring or naked nails into stylish, trend-right manicures and pedicures with 28 Nail Strips in each pack to fit any size nails. Stylish designs and patterns that go on in minutes and last up to a week; peel right off in seconds, without remover. Cut up your leftover strips and use them as nail art.”
I purchased “Gown” which is a silver, glitter base adorned with pink, blue, purple, and green rhinestones. I applied the strips on an airplane within 10 minutes in a time frame between leaving the gate and taking off. My nails were clean and filed. The process to apply the strips is easy. Once you find the strip that best fits your nail, you peel and place. Once you feel you have applied enough pressure for the strip to stick, take the mini nail file provided to file off the excess and voila.
I had the strips on for a total of 5 days. They did begin to wear away at the tip, but I think that can be quickly solved with a top coat.
For a one week manicure in my busy travel schedule, these polish strips were perfect and I would use them again!
