Nargis Fakhri Talks Fashion In ‘Main Tera Hero’

Nargis Fakhri is the second leading lady in the Bollywood film Main Tera Hero. She co-stars alongside Ilena D’Cruz and Varun Dhawan, under the direction of David Dhawan. Tall, lean, and beautiful, Fakhri is already becoming a style icon. In a promotional interview for the film, Fakhri breaks down her style mantra and talks about her favorite looks.

“I don’t have one particular style,” Fakhri explains. “I like to explore different things.” This allows for her stylists and film directors to create unique looks and personas for Fakhri. In preview clips from Main Tera Hero, Nargis Fakhri is seen sporting a wide variety of looks. She wears everything from casual jeans and elaborate evening gowns to a bright lengha (full, traditional, Indian skirt).

Fakhri’s stars in the film as Aisha, a “spoiled rich girl that has all the fancy things.” While Nargis Fakhri sees nothing wrong with her character’s tastes, she does reveal that the items in Aisha’s wardrobe do not entirely reflect ones found in her own. Alternatively, the words cheap, quirky, and thrifty better define the model-turned-actress’ personal sense of style.

Nargis Fakhri is of Pakistani-Czech descent and grew up in New York. Coming from such a diverse background, Fakhri’s career in the spotlight has presented her with the best opportunities to showcase her colorful upbringing. Although Fakhri has been spotted on cycles 2 and 3 of America’s Next Top Model, the launch of her brand and status as a style icon only really came into play after she broke out on the Bollywood scene.
