Nail Art: “I Luh Ya Mani” feat. Animal Print & Versace (A JLo Inspired Look)
“Inspired by the ferociously fabulous manicure featured in JLo’s video for “I Luh Ya Papi,” this week’s nail art blends colorful animal prints with high-end fashion motifs and eye-catching bling.” (Written by Hina K.)
For This Manicure I Used:
Essie “Rock Solid,” Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear “Lacey Lilac (270), OPI “Japanese Rose Garden,” OPI “Don’t Mess with OPI,” Sally Hansen Insta-Dri “Brisk Blue” (430), Stripe Rite in Black, Sephora by OPI “White Hot,” Sally Hansen Insta-Dri “Clearly Quick.”
Always start any nail polish application with clean and filed nails.
Apply one coat of “Rock Solid” (base coat).
Paint each half of your nail a different color. Make sure that no two halves are the same color.
Paint a thick vertical stripe on the nails you’d like to paint the Versace print. I chose my pinky and thumb.
Using a detail brush and white nail polish, paint the Versace graphic over the black section.
Finish off with a leopard print using the black nail polish and seal everything in with a top coat!
