Look Book: Bambi’s ‘Zaalma’ Music Video

Panjabi By Nature is a producer and vocalist who has been in the game for a decade. Now he imparts his experience and knowledge on the next generation by nurturing 3 artists. His female “secret weapon” is Bambi and she steps onto the scene with “Zaalma.” The video is a collection of a few looks, but together they do not create an identity. This is an example of when a girl gets in ahead of herself when there are options.

Look 1: Sporty Chic
This look reminds me of DJ Kayper’s probably because of the dark, long, sleek hair. Bambi is in a black crop top and MC Hammer style pants. She infused the look with gold and white with a few pieces; there’s the wedge sneakers, and the white belt covered in gold hardware. Top the look off with shades or bright blue and green make-up and this is an edgy look.

Look 2: Gold Christmas Tree
From sexy and sporty to gold and bridal, I almost didn’t recognize Bambi. She decorated to the max and can’t help but to think she looks like a Christmas tree. The sari is a net covered in gold appliqués. Bambi’s jewelry consists of a headpiece, earrings, necklace, and slave bracelets. With her hair pulled back and big, this is a typical British wedding look. I wish Bambi’s lips weren’t as neutral and matte. A pretty pink would have worked well.

Look 3: Bejeweled Dress
Next up is a polished red carpet look from Bambi. Her hair is in a sculpted, curled updo. The dress is backless and black. The neckline and shoulder allow for great jewel details and Bambi’s look is topped off with red lips.

Look 4: White Suit
The final look from Bambi is a white suit with her black crop top. From her accessories, Bambi wears a statement necklace, costume rings, and chinky, fake pearl bracelet. The look is forgettable.

So many looks, but how do they fit as one personality? Bambi will have to evolve before our eyes before we get it.
