Elena Ghisellini Joins Emilio Pucci

Emilio Pucci, Florence-based fashion house, has hired Elena Ghisellini to head its handbags division. She will work under the creative direction of Peter Dundas, according to WWD.

This new collective line will be seen in January during the pre-fall 2014 collection reveal.

Ghisellini experience includes once overseeing the leather goods division of Givenchy ,she helped designed the Nightingale and Pandora bags.

In 2003, Ghisellini launched her namesake luxury bags line available at high-end stores such as Bergdorf Goodman in New York, Curve in Los Angeles and Galeries Lafayette in Beijing.

Sounds like this new pairing is going to be one of great results.
